Made up of high calibre professional musicians that have worked together for over a decade, Montreal Jazz Big Band is specialized in the interpretation of swing and afro-cuban music.

The big band repertoire has allowed us to be active in  the field of entertainment music (for shows, festivals, galas, fund raising events, "ballroom" dancing etc.) as well as in the field of concert music (both clasiical repertoire of Gil Evans, Miles Davis, Jimmy Smith, Ellington, Basie, etc., and new compositions of major works and suite for big band by young composers).
